Inspired by nature and the thick undercover of the
Amazon forest floor and emerging plants from the
dead wood below, this piece is hand-built porcelain
which is then glazed and fused with glass and fired
to 2200°F. The pieces are then etched with 24 carat
gold leaf. The tree is Malaysian driftwood. The base
is wood and painted black.
